Music & Arts Programs
The Beauty of The Arts
The Water Buffalo Club believes that the arts encourage kids to be creative, giving them an environment where they can use their imagination and unexplored talents. Today, art programs are not typically considered part of the core curriculum at most elementary, secondary and post-secondary schools. Due to budget constraints, most music and art programs have been cut from our local public schools.
The Water Buffalo Club partners with many children’s charities to ensure that kids have access to the arts. We’ve purchased sound equipment so that children can learn ballroom dancing, purchased instruments so that kids can learn the classics and jazz, purchased choir robes so that kids can compete in state competitions, and bought stage equipment so that kids can bring theatre to life. Exposing kids to art programs presents endless possibilities for them to tap into their creativity; the WBC is proud to support charities that give kids access to the arts.
“I play the violin and upright bass. Thank you for your donation to the Santa Monica Youth Orchestra, it’s helped me to audition for music institutes.”
